My Personal Bloom Greens Results & Experience
Driven by my natural curiosity as a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and a personal desire to elevate my well-being, I decided to incorporate Bloom Greens into my daily routine. The supplement, adorned with promises of a nutritional boost and overall health enhancement, seemed like a promising addition to my wellness regimen. I personally love superfoods powders and have had great experiences with them in general, so when I saw this particular superfoods powder skyrocketing in popularity, I knew I had to try it for myself.
I wish I could say it tasted delicious, but I can’t lie…the first hurdle in my Bloom Greens journey was the taste. Despite the use of Stevia to improve the flavor, I found it to be unpleasant, bordering on unpalatable. The supposed enhancement in taste was overshadowed by a bitter undertone, making the consumption experience less than enjoyable. To be honest, I could barely even drink Bloom Greens…but the review must be finished!
Undeterred by the initial taste test (I personally ordered the Citrus flavor for those who are curious, but they also had Strawberry Kiwi and a Mango flavor as well), I committed to a full 30-day supply of Bloom Greens. My anticipation was met with eagerness, hoping to witness positive changes in digestion, energy levels, and overall well-being, as touted by the product.
Contrary to expectations, the 30-day experiment yielded minimal to no discernible benefits. The promises of improved digestion and increased energy remained elusive, leaving me questioning the efficacy of the supplement. The investment of time and resources did not translate into the expected dividends of well-being.
The addition of Stevia leaf extract, intended to ameliorate the taste, proved to be insufficient. The overall flavor profile remained unsatisfactory, contributing to the overall dissatisfaction with the product. A supplement’s efficacy is undoubtedly crucial, but the taste is a pivotal factor that influences adherence to a daily regimen.
In retrospect, my personal experience with this particular superfoods powder certainly leans towards the negative spectrum. The lack of noticeable benefits, combined with an unappealing taste, diminishes its appeal as a viable superfood supplement. While individual responses to supplements vary, my personal Bloom Greens review underscores the importance of managing expectations and considering taste preferences when venturing into the realm of health supplements.
As consumers navigate the vast landscape of nutritional options, it’s imperative to approach each product with a discerning eye, acknowledging that not every supplement may align with personal preferences and expectations. In the case of this particular supplement, my journey was marked by a sense of unfulfilled promises and a realization that, for my wellness needs, alternative options may hold more promise.
BOTTOM LINE: Bloom Greens only provides 5,000 milligrams worth of superfoods per serving, which was clearly not enough to get the job done for me since I experienced little to no benefits. I do NOT recommend this greens powder. A truly top shelf superfoods powder generally contains TWICE that amount, with the standard dosage being about 10,000 MG.
My top ranked greens supplement, Total Living Drink Greens, provides 15,000 milligrams per serving, which makes it literally 3 TIMES AS POTENT as Bloom Greens. And I can tell you from personal experience, that level of potency makes a world of difference.

Nutritional Profile & Supplement Facts Breakdown
The Bloom Nutrition Greens powder boasts an impressive selection of organic fruits and vegetables, organic grasses, and superfoods, including Spirulina, Chlorella, and Barley Grass. These organic ingredients are celebrated for their rich nutrient profiles and potential health benefits…but the key question in determining whether or not it is truly a top notch superfoods powder is this: are the dosages high enough?
Just having high quality ingredients is not enough to get the job done…you need quality AND quantity. The list of Bloom Greens superfoods is impressive, but are the dosages high enough for it to matter? Let’s take a closer look at how Bloom Nutrition designed the formula…
Various Proprietary Blends
- Fiber Blend (1,724mg): A promising start with Inulin, Flax Seed, and Apple Fruit Powder providing a solid foundation for digestive health. It’s absolutely critical that your greens powder supplement provides enough fiber, and I think it’s safe to say that this one does.
- Bloom Nutrition Greens Superfoods Blend (1,367mg): Despite high-quality ingredients, I lament the underdosing of the green superfood blend, and question the efficacy of this blend. After all, we’re literally talking about a superfoods powder here…what’s more important, if not the superfoods themselves?
- Probiotic Blend (648mg): Criticized for its lower potency in aiding digestive health compared to premium products on the market. Gut health is very important, and Bloom Nutrition really skimped on the probiotics here in my opinion.
- Fruits and Vegetables Blend (572mg): A fruit and vegetable blend, although praised for quality, falls short in dosage, raising concerns about its impact.
- Antioxidant Beauty Blend (550mg): I question the necessity of a separate “beauty” blend, emphasizing that it contributes to a weak overall antioxidant content.
- Digestive Enzyme Blend (150mg): While recognized as essential, the dosage is average. I prefer a much higher enzyme content for optimal digestive function.

A Closer Look at the Bloom Greens Superfoods Powder Formula
What’s the most important part of any superfood supplement? THE SUPERFOODS. So, let’s take a bit of a closer look at what the Bloom Greens superfoods powder portion of the formula contains. Here’s the thing: it does contain a long list of superfoods, and they are all quality nutrients without a doubt. However, here is the issue that I always run into with superfood supplements: the quality is there, but the quantities are too low.
In the case of the Bloom Greens superfoods powder specifically, we are talking about over 30 superfoods, but the total potency of the Bloom Greens superfoods powder blend is actually only 1,367 milligrams…let that sink in for a second. That means that yes, you are getting a lot of different superfoods…but you are getting a very tiny amount of each superfood.
Every serving of the Bloom Greens superfoods powder blend is essentially giving you just a few milligrams of each superfood it contains…that is NOT a high enough dosage to get the job done if you ask me. I’m not a doctor, but I am a Certified Nutrition Coach, and I strongly disapprove of the way the Bloom Greens superfoods powder blend is designed.
Just to show you exactly how small Bloom’s greens superfoods dosage is, I took a photo of what it looks like. It’s SUCH a tiny amount of greens powder. If you want to get serious benefits, you need a seriously larger amount of super greens powder per serving. Check out how tiny Bloom’s greens superfoods dosage is…
Bloom Greens Benefits & Health Claims
Bloom Greens by Bloom Nutrition presents itself as a powerhouse of nutrients, a concoction of various superfoods aimed at elevating overall health. In this comprehensive exploration, we delve into the intricate tapestry of its ingredients to unravel the potential benefits that lie within. I always start by giving you the complete list of ingredients as I did above, but as I said before, it’s important not to let yourself get carried away with a simple ingredient list. A lot of people think that a long list of ingredients translates to a long list of benefits, but that could not be further from the truth. Anyways, let’s dive in…
Antioxidants & Heart Health
At the core of Bloom Nutrition Greens lies organic alfalfa leaf powder, a nutritional powerhouse brimming with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Alfalfa is renowned for its potential to support heart health, aid digestion, and contribute to overall well-being. I personally love Alfalfa and think it’s one of the best superfoods on the market, which is why I find it to be very upsetting that it is so severely under-dosed in this particular formula. You really hate to see it.
Detoxification & Immune Health
Bloom Nutrition Greens incorporates the dynamic trio of spirulina, chlorella, and barley grass, each contributing unique benefits. Spirulina, a blue-green algae, boasts protein, vitamins, and minerals. Chlorella, another blue green algae, is rich in chlorophyll and antioxidants, promoting detoxification. Barley grass brings a surge of vitamins and enzymes, supporting BOTH immune function and digestion, which is why it’s a staple ingredient in ALL of the quality superfood powders.
Stress Management & Cognitive Health
The inclusion of ashwagandha and Rhodiola Rosea adds an adaptogenic dimension to Bloom Greens. Ashwagandha is celebrated for its stress-relieving properties, while Rhodiola Rosea contributes to enhanced endurance and resilience, potentially aiding in stress management.
Cellular Health & Immune System Function
The fruit and vegetable blend in the formula is a medley of antioxidants, including blueberry, cranberry, and beetroot. These antioxidants play a crucial role in combating oxidative stress, supporting cellular health, and contributing to a resilient immune system. Beetroot in particular has been an absolute health craze as of late due to all of the benefits studies have shown it can produce. It has a tremendous effect on your body’s nitric oxide levels and overall blood flow.
Probiotics & Gut Health
This greens powder formula doesn’t overlook the importance of gut health, incorporating a blend of dairy free probiotics. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that promote a healthy gut microbiome, potentially improving digestion, nutrient absorption, and overall gastrointestinal well-being. Many people don’t know this, but probiotics actually help improve mental health too. The reason for this is because of what’s called the gut brain connection, which essentially proves that a healthy gut can help contribute to a healthy brain.
Fiber & Digestive Enzymes
The fiber blend, featuring inulin, flaxseed, and apple fruit powder, adds a layer of digestive support. Fiber aids in maintaining regular bowel movements, supporting a healthy gut, and potentially contributing to weight management. Fiber is an extremely key element of all greens powders, and I have to admit there’s a solid amount of it in Bloom’s greens formula and fiber blend when you combine the total potencies of both blends.
Vitality & Skin Health
The antioxidant beauty blend, comprising strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, elder fruit, cabbage, and green tea leaf, aims to promote skin health. Antioxidants combat free radicals, potentially contributing to a radiant complexion and overall skin vitality. Free radicals cause many issues in the human body including a negative effect on cognition, which is why antioxidants can be so beneficial for many people. The key is ensuring you are getting a proper dosage of antioxidants.
Digestive Enzymes & Nutrient Absorption
Digestive enzymes, found in the blend of Bloom Nutrition Greens, are pivotal for breaking down nutrients and facilitating their absorption. This may contribute to improved nutrient utilization and overall digestive efficiency. The importance of proper digestive function can not be understated because your body needs to properly absorb all of the superfoods you are consuming, otherwise there is almost no point in consuming them.
Boosting Energy Levels
American ginseng and wheat grass bring their unique contributions to the table. Ginseng is revered for its potential to boost energy and vitality, while wheat grass delivers a concentrated source of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll. These are all very standard yet crucial ingredients for a greens powder to include.
Enhancing Flavor & Taste
To enhance palatability, the formula incorporates Stevia leaf extract. This natural sweetener adds sweetness without the calories of refined sugars, catering to those with a preference for a touch of sweetness in their supplements. When evaluating a superfoods powder, you want to make sure that you it does not contain any artificial sweeteners. It’s pretty counter productive to buy a dietary supplement with the intention of improving your health when it contains artificial additives.
Summary of the Potential Benefits
- Immune Support: Antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals contribute to immune system resilience.
- Digestive Support: Probiotics and digestive enzymes aim to foster gut health and efficient digestion.
- Adaptogenic Stress Management: Ashwagandha and Rhodiola Rosea may assist in stress adaptation and management.
- Energy Boost: Ginseng, wheat grass, and the overall nutrient profile contribute to a nice energy boost.
- Skin Radiance: Antioxidants and skin-supportive elements may contribute to a vibrant complexion.

Bloom Greens Pros & Cons
Here are the pros and cons…
Pros
- Plenty of high quality ingredients including fruits and vegetables and superfoods (and its all gluten free as well)
- Bloom Nutrition is a pretty well known and respected company who engages in certified good manufacturing practices
- The Bloom Greens cost is relatively low (but then again, you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to dietary supplements)
Cons
- Low Superfood Potency. The central criticism revolves around the meager 5,000 milligrams of superfoods per serving, paling in comparison to top-tier alternatives.
- Underdosed Ingredients. While the ingredient selection is commendable, the underdosing of key components raises doubts about the supplement’s effectiveness.
- Weak Blends. Specific blends, such as the Green Superfood Blend, Probiotic Blend, Fruits and Vegetables Blend, Antioxidant Beauty Blend, and Digestive Enzyme Blend, are scrutinized for their inadequacies.
- Unsuitable as a Meal Replacement. Bloom Nutrition Greens is deemed unsuitable as a meal replacement due to its lack of protein and low fiber content, limiting its ability to provide sustained satiety.
My Conclusion: Is Bloom Greens Worth It?
In conclusion, Bloom Greens by Bloom Nutrition emerges as simply a middling and underwhelming contender in the saturated market of superfood supplements. While applauded for its diverse ingredient list and budget-friendly appeal, the very underwhelming superfood potency and my negative personal experience with the product are ultimately what lead me to the conclusion that I do NOT recommend Bloom Greens. I hope you have enjoyed my Bloom Greens review, and best of luck to you on your health journey!
